Investing for Impact
The Fund for Homeless Women is a Field of Interest Fund of the Community Foundation for Monterey County that will continue to provide support for unsheltered women in need and work toward permanent solutions to homelessness.
The Community Foundation is an officially registered non profit 501(c)(3) organization. All gifts are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Federal Tax Identification #94-1615897
Fund for Homeless Women co-organizers are volunteers. They do not have salaries, staff or a fixed office. Materials and supplies are purchased through personal and targeted private funding. Consequently, 100% of every donation goes into the fund for (current or endowed) grant making.
Contributions to the Fund for Homeless Women are leveraged with over a thousand other donors. Contributions to the endowment are invested with hundreds of others who leverage their generosity with thoughtfulness and compassion, creating change for women in need, while leaving a legacy for generations to come.
